NEW HAMPSHIRE IMMIGRATION LAWYER APPLAUDS TEMPORARY PROTECTED STATUS FOR HAITIANS, OFFERS FREE CONSULTATION

Attorney Ronald L. Abramson, Principal and Founder of Abramson Immigration Solutions at 1850 Elm Street, Manchester, NH, applauds President Obama and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Napolitano’s decision to offer Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to Haitian citizens living in the United States in the wake of the disastrous earthquake which ravaged the country on January 12, 2010.

“Extending Temporary Protected Status to our Haitian friends and neighbors shows compassion on the part of our government,” said Abramson, noting that other countries such as El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua, have been on the TPS list for years, often as a result of less serious natural and/or man-made disasters than the conditions currently facing Haiti. “TPS is a small but important step in showing the world that the United States cares about the plight of some its most vulnerable residents, regardless of their immigration status,” Abramson added.

In an effort to help locally, Abramson Immigration Solutions is offering New Hampshire’s Haitian community a free half-hour consultation to determine whether and how TPS may help them find some measure of peace and stability during these difficult times. Anyone looking for such help may contact Abramson Immigration Solutions’ TPS hotline at (617) 299-1877 (617-299-1TPS) or info@immigsolutions.com.
